If you're as tough, dependable and efficient as the compressors we make, then you're the right fit for Quincy Compressor. We are currently seeking an Applications Administrator/Developer to join our team! This position will be based out of our Corporate Office located in Bay Minette, AL.
Basic Function :
Quincy Compressor is looking for a dynamic team player who serves as an applications administrator/developer for our critical business applications, including ?Virtual Engineer"(Oracle CPQ) and OKTA our single sign on solution. This person will also support our SQL environment while offering support for key marketing team activities to improve channel partner and organizational efficiencies.
Nature & Scope:
The Application Administrator/Developer is the principle owner of the company s online order configurator, ?Virtual Engineer, a version of Oracle s CPQ Cloud software solution that streamlines and controls the customer quoting and ordering process.
Principle Duties:
Implement CPQ solutions in the Oracle CPQ Cloud product. Perform hands-on solution design, solution architecture, roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and required development tasks.
Gather requirements from business teams in order to determine the needs and the product's ability to deliver success and deliver improvements.
Act as a liaison between Marketing, Technical teams, Business Functions, and vendor to drive CPQ improvement implementation plans.
Scale up and enable existing Configure Price and Quote process to meet the need from multiple business areas and users. Work with stakeholders to determine the best solution dependent upon their products and services catalogs.
Lead documentation of new business processes, capabilities and functional requirements; deliver training to new users. Play lead role in strategy for module/functionality/features deployment across modules and reporting. Prioritize requirements to deliver maximum business benefits.
Responsible for upgrading and maintaining the Oracle CPQ application while striving to improve the overall user experience for distribution and direct channels.
Modify configurations and document designs using HTML, CSS and SQL as required
Configure and maintain SQL database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high-levels of performance, availability, and security
OKTA administration, documentation and training
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s Degree required with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business preferred.
Basic coding experience required
HTML, CSS and SQL experience required
Oracle CPQ, Big Machines experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong oral and written skills required for day to day interface with customers and co-workers.
Must be able to perform a variety of tasks with the ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to interact with all business areas and deliver high levels of accuracy while working with a sense of urgency
Understanding of SCRUM Project Management

Physical Demands:
Required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking).
Some travel may be required due to projects or business demand.
Personal Protective Equipment:
While on shop floor, must wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes at all times.
Work Environment:
Mainly an office environment, with some exposure to a plant environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
