Supervisor (District Manager)
We seek an experienced professional in the consumer loan, retail or restaurant industry to maintain a well-run and profitable territory of 16 offices. This individual will assist the organization in leading a team of employees to understand and execute the company's mission and goals. This will entail developing the knowledge and skills to diagnose trends in employee behavior, anticipate difficulties and initiate prompt corrective action when needed. In addition, they will perform the following:
Oversee office lending and collections practices in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as Company policy.
Use available training and development resources to improve office and staff performance.
Observe and implement established Company policies and procedures.
Set individual office performance goals; guide offices and employees and actively influence events to achieve performance goals.
Identify opportunities for growth by discerning existing offices that would benefit by relocation and by recognizing expansion opportunities in their territory.
Perform regular visits of offices in territory; review credit extension, cash control, delinquency and customer service for compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Analyze operational reports; develop, with the assistance of the Regional. Supervisor, an individual course of action for each office in territory based on gathered information.
Recruit, hire, train, motivate and evaluate (personally or through office Manager) new and existing employees. Determine office staffing needs as well as salary adjustments and counseling of employees.
Plan and coordinate local advertising campaigns from inception to completion.
Qualifications:
Must be able to earn a certificate of completion for our Branch Training Program.
Experience in the consumer loan, retail or restaurant industry preferred.
Ability and desire to quickly learn and implement new job-related information.
Ability to establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks.
Well organized.
Willing to modify plans and behavior when necessary to meet a goal.
Maintains effective professional relationships with employees.
Strong communication and management skills.
Ability to interact in a positive, calm and effective manner with the public, customers, subordinates and others, including individuals who are frustrated, aggravated or irate.
Uses tact in all communications; sensitive to the feelings and needs of others.
Maintains a professional appearance and conduct (during both business and business related social situations).
Willing to travel as needed - generally 4 of 5 working days for field visits.
Must have own vehicle, able to drive and have current automobile insurance.
Must be willing and able to fly for meetings, conferences, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
