Staff Development RN

We are currently accepting applications for a Staff Development RN within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Qualifications:


  • Current Alabama RN License
  • Experience in long-term care nursing
  • Staff Development is a plus, but training is available for RNs with long-term care experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Positive attitude toward the elderly

Essential Job Functions


  • To direct in-service educational programs and new hire orientation following current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility, and as may be controlled by the Administrator.
  • Ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.
  • Providing nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance
  • Planning and implementing orientation and mentoring programs for all nursing employees
  • Maintain the nurses' and CNA's schedules
  • Monday through Friday with rotating call and work one weekend monthly

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
