Responsibilities:
Participate in discussions on equipment design, detailed engineering with the Mill OEMs and third parties.
Support equipment installation and commissioning.
After the Hot Mill startup, support continuing operations through engagement in maintenance and reliability activities.
Involvement in ongoing sustaining capital improvement activities.
Recommend new technologies for upgradesSupport maintenance and engineering budget/cost.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Five years of progressive experience as an electrical engineer in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of electric motor and drive systems.
Previous experience in MV and LV drives performing drive tune-up or extensive and sophisticated troubleshooting and large synchronous and DC motors (Power > 3000HP)Experience with L1 automation systems (PLC) and basic with HMIs (Siemens preferred).
Knowledge in reliability concepts, particularly RCA and FMEAAble to travel up to 30% (North America and Internationally) in the first 1.
5 years.
After that period, the travel will be less than 10%.

Salary:
$39 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
