The Thoracic Regional Marketer, US Thoracic Business Unit - East Coast (TRM) is the lead commercial member responsible for engaging a core group of National, Regional and Community Opinion Leaders in the field of Lung Cancer.
The TRM will be responsible for developing and implementing an Area Marketing Plan that aligns with the strategic imperatives of the brand strategy to influence and shape commercial success for the launch of Novocure's Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) in NSCLC.
This position will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, field sales leaders, medical, market access, strategic accounts and other functions to elevate brand advocacy with key customers and industry experts.
This position is field based, collaborating with the Thoracic teams across the East Coast.
This is a full-time, exempt, field-based position reporting to the Associate Director, HCP Marketing.
Ideal candidates will be located within the Central or Eastern timezones and can commute to a metropolitan airport with regularity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of an Area Marketing Plan that aligns with brand strategic imperatives and is focused on generating insights and building advocacy from Lung opinion leaders and industry experts.
Identify and engage with a core group of 35-50 National, Regional and Community Lung opinion leaders and key influencers by leveraging strong communication and business analytics to help build brand advocacy for TTFields with the key targets.
Develop and execute an expert engagement plan to include speakers' bureau and content creation.
Achieve key strategic and business goals to prepare for the launch and commercial device adoption of Tumor Treating Fields in NSCLC.
Collaborate with brand marketing, field sales leaders, strategic accounts and other brand partners to develop and execute regional strategies and tactics based on market needs and opportunities.
Provide timely and actionable customer insights that inform brand strategy, decision making and other important marketing initiatives.
Escalate potential challenges and barriers of entry to leadership and the brand team.
Compliantly manage the area marketing budgets, timelines, processes and procedures while adhering strictly to required policies and trainings.
Support marketing team in developing integrated marketing plans focused on driving HCP brand awareness of TTFields based on insights from key Lung opinion leaders.
Maintain business relationships with relevant marketing agencies to support brand projects.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, medical, key account management, sales, or sales leadership, ideally engaging with KOLs/Influential HCPs.
3
years of oncology experience required, experience in lung cancer and/or complex therapeutics preferred.
Prior Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) or regional marketing experience a plus.
Bachelor's Degree; preferably in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
Prior experience working with third party vendors and agency partners.
This position requires greater than 50% travel (and up to 65% travel) to field based educational events, internal meetings and congresses including evening and weekends when necessary.
Medical device experience with a firm understnading of the oncology marketplace is preferred.
